an elegant blend of historic architecture and modern
facilities. Rich in history and tradition, the elegant
city club has recently undergone extensive renovations
to restore the facility to its original grandeur.
For
over a century, the Decatur Club has been a major player
in the social, economic, and cultural life of downtown
Decatur due to its superb location, excellence in service
and the wide array of member activities.

Club Room – utilized for private meetings and receptions,
corporate training sessions, board meetings, weddings and
special member events
Conference Room – favorite of members for holiday
parties and private receptions
President’s Room – features as its centerpiece
a solid oak conference table for twelve. Along the walls,
a pictorial history of all the presidents of the Board of
Directors from 1883 to the present is proudly displayed
Library – a favorite hideaway for several of
The Club’s long-standing members; the hardwood walls
and commanding stone fireplace make this room perfect for
the monthly wine tastings, cigar smokers, and private dinners
Three additional corporate suites and modern restroom facilities
for both men and women

Main
Dining Room – a newly renovated hand-painted hunt
scene beautifully adorns the walls; this room offers an exceptional
evening dining experience to members, and many Ladies Bridge
groups meet in this room on a weekly basis for lunch and cards
Grand
Ballroom – a traditionally elegant Ballroom that
comfortably seats over 200 guests; the location for elite
wedding receptions, upscale galas, and private banquets
Mezzanine Dining Room – used for member dining
(with local pianists featured playing our antique Steinway
baby grand piano), private meetings, and overflow for large
weddings; it also doubles as a business room for corporate
training sessions, and is home to members of the local Tuesday
Noon Kiwanis group
Carmen Room – utilized in much the same manner
as the Mezzanine Dining Room; utilized by many local businesses,
this room is versatile enough for meetings during the day
and the classiest of cocktail receptions in the evening hours
